They opened their season in Bainbridge Island on Labor Day with a dominating 3-0 win and giving the Wolverines strong momentum heading into a tough schedule last week with three matches against Bothell, Liberty and Juanita High Schools. The Wolverines beat Bothell, a 4A division team, in a close match stretching out all five sets before pulling through with a 3-2 win. The team finished the week strong in another sweep against the Juanita Rebels winning 3-0 to remain undefeated and moving the team into an early division lead.

The Junior Varsity team also started off strong with a 2-0 win against Bainbridge Island, but fell to Bothell in straight sets losing 0-2 against the division 4A team.
